1、 Maintenance of fermentation tanks
1. The precision filter for fermentation tanks generally has a lifespan of six months. If the filtration resistance is too high or the filtration capacity is lost, which affects normal production, it needs to be cleaned or replaced (it is recommended to replace it directly without cleaning, as the performance of the filter cannot be reliably guaranteed after cleaning operation).
2. When cleaning the fermentation tank, please use a soft bristled brush to scrub it, and do not use a hard tool to scrape it, so as not to damage the surface of the fermentation tank.
3. The supporting instruments of the fermentation tank should be calibrated once a year to ensure normal use.
4. The electrical equipment such as appliances, instruments, and sensors in the fermentation tank must not come into direct contact with water or steam to prevent moisture.
5. When the fermentation tank is no longer in use, it should be cleaned in a timely manner and any remaining water in the fermentation tank and pipelines should be drained; Loosen the fermentation tank cover and hand hole screws to prevent permanent deformation of the sealing ring.
6. The operating platform of the fermentation tank, constant temperature water tank and other carbon steel equipment should be regularly (once a year) painted to prevent rusting.
7. Regularly check the oil level of the reducer, and if the lubricating oil is insufficient, it needs to be increased in a timely manner.
8. Regularly replace the lubricating oil of the reducer to extend its service life.
9. If the fermentation tank is not in use temporarily, it is necessary to empty the tank and drain the remaining water in the tank and various pipelines.
2、 Precautions for using fermentation tanks
1. It is necessary to ensure that all individual equipment in the fermentation tank can operate normally when using this system.
2. When disinfecting the filter, the steam pressure flowing through the air filter should not exceed 0.17MPa, otherwise the filter element will be damaged and lose its filtering ability.
3. During the fermentation process, it should be ensured that the tank pressure does not exceed 0.17MPa.
4. During the actual consumption process, when the jacket is preheated with steam, the inlet steam pressure must be controlled within the working pressure range of the equipment (not exceeding 0.2MPa), otherwise it may cause damage to the fermentation tank.
5. During empty and actual consumption, it is necessary to completely drain the remaining water inside the fermentation tank jacket. Otherwise, it may cause the inner cylinder of the fermentation tank to flatten, resulting in equipment damage; During actual consumption, it can also cause excessive condensation water, leading to dilution of the culture medium and inability to meet process requirements.
6. During the cooling process after the completion of air disinfection and actual disinfection, it is strictly prohibited to generate negative pressure inside the fermentation tank to avoid pollution and even damage to the equipment.
7. During the fermentation process, the tank pressure of the fermentation tank should be maintained between 0.03 and 0.05 MPa to avoid contamination.
8. During each operation, it is necessary to maintain the pressure in the air pipeline greater than the tank pressure of the fermentation tank, otherwise it may cause the liquid in the fermentation tank to flow back into the filter, block the filter element or cause the filter to fail.
9. If you encounter problems that you cannot solve on your own, please contact the after-sales service department of the fermentation tank directly. Do not forcefully disassemble or repair the fermentation tank.
